Odisha sits at the heart of India’s mining economy, contributing nearly 45% of the country’s total mineral value.

With the nation’s largest District Mineral Foundation (DMF) corpus of around ₹36,000 crore, the state has a powerful opportunity to transform the lives of nearly 38 lakh citizens across 5,109 mining-affected villages living within a 15 km radius of mining zones.
