There are 13.5 lakh students, 55k teachers in approximately 6k government schools are for grades VI-XII

Haryana's performance in National Achievement Survey (NAS) jumped from bottom performer in 2017 to top-5 among states & UTs in 2021, with grade-level competency increasing from 55% (2017) to ~86% (2020)
