Did you Know?

~30 lakh students in grades 1-2 in ~1.1L Parishadiya government schools of UP, covering ~4L teachers

As per ASER 2018 report, in Grade 3, approximately 72.8% of students could not read a Grade 2 level text, and 71.8% could not perform at least subtraction

NIPUN Lakshya App

All system actors are given a thermometer-like tool (NIPUN Lakshya App) to assess FLN competency

NIPUN Vidyalay Assessment

Every year an independent FLN assessment of schools is conducted by DIET students.

NIPUN Samman Sammaroh

To motivate teachers and headmasters, gamification has been done, such as through recognition as NIPUN Vidyalay for teachers and headmasters

NIPUN Sankalp Karyashalas (NSKs)

A statewide series of workshops was conducted to orient the mentoring cadre and also administrative officers on the NIPUN mission.
